Voting Age Survey launches today

What do children and young people think about the current voting age?

We’re asking them.

Did you know Australians can enrol to vote at age 16 but cannot actually vote until they are 18-years-old?

Lowering the voting age went to the Australian Parliament in 2018 and 2021. The results of a Victorian poll in 2020 indicated that three in five young people wanted to vote.

To our knowledge, there has been no survey asking what Western Australian young people think.

That's why we have launched our Voting Age survey, to find out what their preference is.

If you are 24-years-old or younger, take the survey now at survey.confirmit.com.au/wix/0/p494819843470

The survey closes at 5pm, Friday 20 September 2024.
