Engaging with Aboriginal Children and Young People Toolkit
Improving the lives of Aboriginal children and young people must be seen as core business for all organisations and agencies engaging with Aboriginal people and communities.
This toolkit outlines a process for establishing a long-term, sustainable commitment to working with Aboriginal children and young people within their community and developing effective initiatives that improve their current wellbeing and future opportunities. It supports the development of Aboriginal-led solutions through engaging children and young people, community Elders and senior leaders from the beginning. This will ensure programs are produced with the community and for the community.
The toolkit is a dynamic resource that will be continually updated with new case studies and examples of best practice so we encourage you to frequently visit.
