Children's literature event 2019

The Commissioner hosted a special literature event in September 2019 to celebrate the voices of young people and the positive contributions young people make to our society.

The event featured 2018-2019 Australian Children’s Laureate and bestselling author Morris Gleitzman, along with local award-winning WA authors Dianne Wolfer, Mark Greenwood and Frané Lessac.

More than 115 students from Years 5 and 6 took part in engaging activities to get their creative minds working and contributed to discussions on important topics.
