WA Youth Award nominations are closing

Have you nominated an outstanding young person for the Commissioner’s 2015 Participate Award, part of this year’s WA Youth Awards?

Nominations are open until 16 October so get in quick to support the efforts of young people aged 12 to 17 years who have displayed outstanding dedication to make a positive change in their community, and who have inspired other young people to do the same.

The Commissioner has supported the Youth Awards since 2010, and the 2014 recipient of the Participate Award, Estelle Clarke, was selected as the overall WA Young Person of the Year.

The WA Youth Awards are presented by the Youth Affairs Council of WA in partnership with the Department of Local Government and Communities, and supported by Lotterywest.

All winners will be announced at an official awards ceremony at the Crown Ballroom in Perth on 27 November.
