The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for high-level executive and administrative support to the Commissioner. Integral to the role is providing effective liaison and coordination with Corporate Executive and the smooth running of the Commissioner’s office. You will review and prioritise incoming correspondence, reports and inquiries. The Commissioner is engaged in multiple committees requiring significant travel. Diary and travel expertise is highly valued.
Other responsibilities within this role:
- Engages with senior executives and ministerial offices.
- Provide executive support and administrative services to the Commissioner, including preparing and collating correspondence, creating, and maintaining a records management system for the office of the Commissioner, screening telephone calls and redirecting queries.
- Coordinates meetings, functions and activities on behalf of the Commissioner.
- Strategic management of the diary and maintaining appointments and meetings for the Commissioner.
- Intra and Interstate travel bookings management.
You are
- Experienced in an executive support environment.
- a great communicator, and well developed written communications skills.
- have initiative and sound judgement on matters that are urgent, non-routine or sensitive and ability to prioritise work in a demanding environment.
- proficient with Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn other applications and software.
